Himachal – Everything stunning…the valleys, the rivers and the mountains

I never stepped out of my hometown Rohtak in my Childhood. Exceptionally, we often visited to my maternal uncle’s home for summer vacations. But after 12th standard, I began to move out to nearby tourist destinations like Jaipur, Delhi and Dehradun with my family or friends. I felt that I enjoy traveling, perhaps more than anything else. So when I got chance, I never missed it. Till today, I have seen a lot in India and a few overseas destinations as well. Talking about India, the destination I like the most is Himachal Pradesh. I first visited there to attend my friend’s wedding. And once I have been there, it became my lifetime memory. After that I have visited Himachal 4 times, and every time I visit there I get an enchanting experience like never before.

I have been Dharmshala, the religious capital of Himachal, to explore the sightseeing and magnificent adobe of Dalai Lama: a great spiritual leader of Buddhism. Una, Chamba and Kajjiar are also my favorite tourist spot in Himachal, where I had some of the best moments of my life. Natural beauty at these places is just splendid with a range of adventure sports to thrown in. Trekking is always a rewarding experience during Himachal tour.

On my recent visit to Himachal, I went to Shimla and Manali: two most stunning tourist spots in Himachal. In Shimla, the capital of the state, we had great fun: shopped, trekked and tried many adventurous things. Manali tour gave us an enchanting experience of river rafting. Cliff jumping, bungee jumping, camping and birding are other delightful activities we enjoyed there. There is a quality range of hotels and restaurants in both Shimla and Manali, which are remarkable treats for all visitors. Shimla hotels were just awesome offering modern luxuries coupled with stunning natural vistas and inspiring hospitality. Really, Himachal entices me a lot and I always love to go there. Hope I will get another good chance to explore the ‘Dev-Bhumi’ Himachal in near future.
