Delhi and Mumbai – A Complete Trip

Delhi and Mumbai are the two most important cities in the country. Mumbai is the capital city of the Indian state of Maharashtra and Delhi, a state by itself, is the capital of India. Right from the time of Independence, a lot of resources and wealth have been directed to improve the infrastructure and ensure growth and development across sectors in these two places. This is because these places have formed the pillar of Indian industrial and economic growth and have contributed the most towards the economic development of the country. As individual places, they are known for their individual features.

Mumbai is the most populous city in the country with a huge population of nearly fourteen million. Along with the urban suburbs of Navi Mumbai and Thane, the city is the most populated city in the world. The city, though, has been distinguished and recognized for other important features. Being the hub for commerce and trade, the city is the most advanced in terms of the economic framework. It is the largest contributor to the country’s economic growth. All the important institutions are headquartered in the city of Mumbai and the city has the highest growth rates than any other city in Asia.

Delhi, being the capital of India, does not need much description. Delhi has the some of the best monuments in the world. Monuments dating back to the sultanate and the Mughal period like the Qutub Minar, Red Fort, Jantar Mantar, Humayun’s tomb etc. attract tourists from all over the globe. In terms of connectivity between the two places, Mumabi Delhi flights are many. There are a minimum of thirty Mumbai to Delhi flights and vice versa that operate on a daily basis.
